My Story

I live on the Peninsula with my wife and two children.

I start most days with a run, and you can often find me supporting local businesses in the area.

I’m the youngest of three and come from a working-class family, Dad is a truckie and mum is a migrant from Italy.

My first job was at a petrol station; I’ve worked as an organiser for some of the state’s lowest paid workers.

My grandparents came to Australia from post-war Italy, they had nothing, and South Australia gave them the chance to build a secure home for them and their kids.

They worked hard to give us the best chances, and taught us that you only get back what you put in.

I know how to make sure communities get the most from good government.

My First Speech

I believe in the value of opportunity to give everyone the best chance at succeeding in life.

Whether it’s a secure job, aged care services, a safe home, trade pathway, better schools, respect for our environment, or improved health services, as your voice in State Parliament, I’ll always make what matters to you matter to government.

Our community in Port and Peninsula is at a once-in-a-generation opportunity.

Like never before, kids have the chance to finish their education here, and walk into secure, long-term jobs close to home.
